About this video
Alfy is a guy with amnesia who doesn’t realize he’s not from Earth. He’s searching for clues about who he is, where he came from… and maybe what home even means. So yeah. Light stuff. Making animation is hard. Making character animation across 2D, 3D, frame-by-frame, and motion capture? That’s where you start questioning your life choices. You can spend hours, sometimes days, polishing just three seconds of footage. Tweaking micro-details. Obsessing over things most people will never consciously notice. And at some point you think, is anyone even going to see this? (They will. Probably. Hopefully.) Then you put the work out into the world. And you see the reactions. The comments. The moments where something you made actually lands with someone else. That’s the good stuff. After many months (okay, more than half a year) of cooking, tweaking, re-tweaking, and overthinking, the team and I are really excited to finally share this with you. Meet Alfy.
