Refracted is a film that explores the tension between clarity and illusion, what is visible yet altered, through the lens of the observer. Inspired by the organic delicacy of flowers seen through distorted glass. Petals and stems refract, as if suspended behind a warped surface, showing how our increasingly mediated world shapes our relationship with nature. The natural forms of flowers are transformed through the distortion of glass, creating a dialogue between the organic and the digital. Rather than presenting a clear image, Refracted invites the viewer to reframe, and reconsider what they perceive. It is not only about distortion, but about the beauty that emerges through it.
