About this video
For the last roughly 15 years we've had the honor of developing the stage graphics for the Loeb Awards. This year, given that the Loebs celebrate the best in business journalism from around America (and the world), we came up with the idea of reinterpreting the physical Loeb Award (a crystal globe) as a landscape we could road-trip across, but with a landscape made out of the elements of journalism: camera lenses become above ground pools, televisions become storefronts, notepads become windmills, typewriter keys become the branches of a tree, plastic newspaper sleeves become a river, torn colorful magazine pages become cherry blossoms, etc., etc... And at the end, it all comes together at the actual New York City venue where the event was being held.
